All Pakistan Solvent Extractors’ Association was founded in 1980 with the objective to foster development and growth of solvent extraction industry in Pakistan. It is the apex representative body for the solvent extraction industry in Pakistan with almost every active solvent extraction unit in the country as its member.

The primary objective of APSEA is to promote and facilitate the trade, commerce, manufacturing, import and export activities of the solvent extraction industry. APSEA provides a forum for the industry to collaborate on all relevant issues such as local and international market developments, promoting growth of local oilseed crops, liaison with government authorities on taxation and regulatory issues, and handling imports of oilseeds.

APSEA is registered under the Directorate General of Trade Organizations’ Ministry of Commerce, under the Trade Organizations Act 2013. The affairs of the Association are managed by a 10-member Executive Committee, which includes its office bearers comprising of Chairman, Senior Vice Chairman and Vice Chairman. The association currently has 88 members.
