Doug is a fifth-generation farmer in Southeastern Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in agricultural economics from Southern Illinois University. He continually strives to improve his farm’s sustainability and profitability by improving current practices, as well as implementing new strategies and technologies. His farming operation includes raising commercial soybeans, seed soybeans, yellow corn, wheat, and milo, and occasionally white corn. He is a seed sales representative for Pioneer. Doug is currently serving in his ninth year as a United Soybean Board Director and has many years of service in the agricultural industry, beginning with the White County Soil and Water Conservation Board, and continuing with the White County Farm Bureau, the White County 4-H Extension Service, and as an advisor to the Southeastern Illinois College Board.

Sohaib Jamali, Senior Economist SBP. Sohaib Jamali works as Senior Economist at Economic Policy Review Department of the State Bank of Pakistan where heads the division on Thematic Analysis. Prior to joining Pakistan's central bank, Sohaib was the Founding Research Editor of the agenda-setting independent research wing of Business Recorder newspaper. Erik Norland Executive Director & Senior Economist Erik Norland is Executive Director and Senior Economist of CME Group. He is responsible for generating economic analysis on global financial markets by identifying emerging trends, evaluating economic factors and forecasting their impact on CME Group and the company’s business strategy, and upon those who trade in its various markets. He is also one of CME Group’s spokespeople on global economic, financial and geopolitical conditions. Prior to joining CME Group, Norland gained more than 15 years of experience in the financial services industry working for investment banks and hedge funds both in the United States and in France. He most recently served in sales and research at BEAM Bayesian Efficient Asset Management LLC, and previously as Director of Research at EQA Partners, both global macro hedge funds. He also worked for IXIS Corporate & Investment Bank in Paris (now called Natixis), covering central banks and supranationals for the fixed income sales business, and also worked as a market economist and strategist. He began his career at Bankers Trust, Global Investment Management in New York working with the tactical asset allocation group. Norland holds a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and an M.A.in statistics from Columbia University. He is also a CFA Charterholder.

Limited (Edible Oil Refinery+Solvent Plant), FWQ Enterprises (Pvt) Limited (Edible Oil Jetty + Edible Oil Storage Terminal), Mapak Qasim Bulkers (Pvt.) Limited (Edible Oil Terminal) (Joint Venture Projects between Pakistan & Malaysia-Port Qasim). He is also the Director of Dalda Foods (Pvt) Limited, Bulk Management (Pakistan) Pvt. Limited, Westbury (Private) Limited, Trading Enterprises (Pvt.) Limited, Shakoo (Private) Limited F&B Bulk Storage (Pvt.) Limited and Rotary Club, Karachi. JIM SUTTER CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER U.S. SOYBEAN EXPORT COUNCIL Jim Sutter joined USSEC as its CEO in 2010 after over 30 years of industry experience with Cargill, Inc. Since joining USSEC Sutter has led Strategy development to ensure that the organization’s key focus is on differentiating and building a preference for U.S. Soy while also ensuring Market Access. Sutter grew up on a crop and cattle farm in northeastern Colorado, received a degree in Agricultural Business/Economics from Colorado State University.

Ms. Emily French is an experienced trader, analyst, broker and presently the founder & managing director of ConsiliAgra. Her passion for agriculture started early-childhood on a farm in north Idaho through earning a degree in Agricultural Business at Washington State University to starting her professional career with Cargill in 1996. Following Cargill, Ms. French worked for the U.S. Grains Council and World Perspectives, and later in investment banking. When not on an airplane, Ms. French resides in the mountains of the Pacific Northwest.

Nawab Shahzad Ali Khan is the Patron-in-Chief of APSEA. He is the chairman of SS Group, who are involved in solvent extraction, poultry feed manufacturing, and textiles. His family has been involved in corporate farming for more than 200 years. He is the oldest member APSEA member and has served as APSEA Chairman three times. He has also served as Chairman APTMA, Head of Cotton Research Committee and Chairman of Inter State Gas Systems (Private) Limited (ISGS) formed by the Government of Pakistan. He has also been on the Managing Committee of FPCCI four times.

Donald Blome U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan Donald Blome was sworn in as the U.S. Ambassador to Pakistan on April 11, 2022.Ambassador Blome most recently served as the U.S. Ambassador to Tunisia from 2019 to 2022. Ambassador Blome also served as Chargé d’Affaires at the Libya External Office in Tunis, Tunisia, and Consul General at the U.S. Consulate in Jerusalem.
